This year at Ariana Restaurant in Huntington we are treating mom with a pot of Afghani tea and nuku, as well as a piece of one of our home baked desserts.

As you might already know, tea is a very popular drink is Afghanistan. So, if you visit a friend or go to a relatives house, they immediately offer you a pot of tea with variety of flavors. At Ariana, we do the same with our guests (when you order it) – we offer Afghani green tea with a hint of cardamom.

What is nukul?
Traditionally, people throw nukels and other sweets over the bride at their wedding ceremonies. But we at Ariana offer them with the tea and we think that eating nukul with the tea is another way enhancing the pallate.

Bring your dad to Ariana Restaurant in Huntington Village on father’s day and let him indulge in Turkish Beer by Efes.

Efes is the biggest beer maker in Turkey and has about 80% of the market there. Their main product line is called Efes Pilsen, which is what we serve at Ariana (5.0% ABV). It is named after the Turkish name for the ancient city of Ephesus near the İzmir brewery. The beer has a “tangy malt and hops aroma, rich malt in the mouth, and a bitter-sweet finish that becomes dry and hoppy”.

So just make an online reservation and see you on Father’s Day!

Please call us at 631 – 421 2933 if you have any questions …
